Clinical observations
Based on detailed case histories and observations made over an average of 7 daily MLD treatments performed by a qualified MLD practitioner, prompt MLD application may speed recovery and reduce internal hoof damage. When used in horses with acute laminitis, MLD limits the inflammatory response; drains edema and tissue detritus, reducing pressure within the hoof; and limits processes damaging the lamellae, leading to better recovery.
