JEVS in 2007

Journal of Equine Veterinary Science

Article Outline

I am writing this editorial between Christmas and the New Year, although you will not be reading it until February. Here in Colorado, we have just had our second blizzard in a week and I am thinking about which meetings I can attend in February to escape the winter weather, perhaps the Western States meeting in Las Vegas. I enjoy the holiday break because it gives me a little time to reflect on the past year.

JEVS has made significant progress during 2006, and I appreciate the compliments I have been receiving about the Journal. The best compliment, however, is to receive more and more article submissions each month. It is exciting to see an increase in submissions, along with an increase in the quality of the submitted papers. We are still open to receiving review articles; we encourage submission of review papers on almost any subject.

I think that 2007 will be a pivotal year for the Journal and I feel confident that it will be a much sought-after journal in 2007.
